96 Points
Ripe, opulent, exuberant, complex, and vinous on the nose with alluring aromas of brown pear, apple strudel, beeswax, popcorn, cinnamon and baking spice. A big, broad, weighty, structural wine with impressive textural elements and complex barrel influence. Still very youthful, this wine has hidden depth and unfolds in the glass to show layers of flavour. A benchmark NZ, dry Pinot Gris.

Dry and broad with the classic, rich, palate structure of Pinot Blanc balanced by soft acidity, and boasting a long, tasty finish. Impressive, very approachable, a delicious food wine.

Full-flavoured, soft, dry, textural, weighty and mouth-filling, with attractive lees-influenced nutty, burnt sugar flavours and good persistence on the finish. Should drink well for the next few years.
